Organic cotton fashions at Wal-Mart

When trying to find clothing that used organic cotton, I realized many of my favorite stores that specialize in fashionable women's clothing failed to use the green fabric. But then I found myself at Wal-Mart.

Wal-Mart may not exactly be the first thing that pops into your mind when you think of companies using more organic cotton, but it actually leads the pack in being a huge supporter of organic cotton.

Since 2006, popular brands like Faded Glory and Norma Kamali at Wal-Mart decided to take a positive step forward in green fashion by adopting organic cotton more into the production of their clothing.

The socially accepted alternative, Target, uses mostly organic cotton in bedding and baby items like many other stores. But Wal-Mart actually offers a variety of clothing in organic cotton fit for everyone.

Using organic cotton is actually more expensive than using conventional cotton due to production costs, therefore Wal-Mart has more financial power to delve into this new endeavor compared to other companies.

So if you want to purchase clothes that use organic cotton, try a trip to Wal-Mart.
